KEMP, Texas — Kemp ISD is investigating claims that an employee engaged in "inappropriate conduct," according to a press release from the district.

On Sept. 3, Kemp ISD was made aware of a concern about the actions of a Kemp High School employee, the district said in a press release. Kemp ISD administration notified authorities and began investigating the allegations against the employee, the release states.

The employee under investigation did not return to a Kemp ISD campus after the initial report was made, officials said. The district did not disclose any additional information about the nature of the allegations against the employee.

The district terminated the employee, the release states. Kemp ISD police and other agencies are investigating the allegations, police said.
