RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - Two people were killed and one person was injured in a shooting in south Reno.

The Reno Police Department says the shooting happened at around 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the Inova Apartment Complex near the Summit Mall.

Police say there was a fight near the pool area that escalated to a physical altercation.

RPD says it is unclear how many shots were fired but say a 20-year-old man died at the scene. Shortly after, a 29-year-old man was dropped off at the hospital and was pronounced dead.

A 23-year-old man was also injured and is currently in stable condition.

The names of the victims are being withheld, but investigators say they believe everyone involved in the shooting has been identified. They also say there is no threat to the public.
