FERNLEY, Nev. (KOLO) - A Fernley man has been arrested on charges of threatening an employee at Fernley Intermediate School.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office says that last Friday afternoon, 47-year-old Mark Soto was picking up his child when he began yelling at an employee who was directing traffic to allow school buses to pass through, causing a delay.

They say Soto threatened the staff member, telling them he was going to run them over. Soto then allegedly drove away, nearly striking the staff member.

Monday morning, at around 8:45 a.m., a deputy with the LCSO made contact with Soto, who was again at the school. Police say Soto refused to identify himself and was uncooperative.
