HUDSON, Fla. (WFLA) — A man is dead after a woman driving with a BAC level three times the legal limit struck a car, fence, and three boats in Hudson Sunday evening.

At around 8 p.m., the Florida Highway Patrol said 37-year-old Ashley Marshall, of Brooksville, was driving a Buick Verano north on US-19 near Bolton Avenue, behind a Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by a 67-year-old Hudson woman.

Marshall attempted to overtake the Chrysler and collided with the back of the car, sending both vehicles off the road. After the initial collision, the Buick struck a fence and three boats in a nearby boatyard before finally coming to a stop.
