EDMONDS—A 48-year-old Edmonds man was arrested for two counts of Attempted Murder in the 1st degree and two counts of Unlawful Imprisonment after a violent assault of two employees of an Edmonds massage business. Multiple witnesses pointed responding officers in the direction of the suspect, who had fled on foot, and he was taken into custody at a nearby business parking lot without incident. The suspect was later booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

The incident began just on Sunday, September 7th, before 5:45 PM, at Eva Spa Massage, 9726 Edmonds Way. The suspect approached the business door, where one of the victims recognized him as a previous customer.
