A baby lounge product sold on Amazon is being recalled after the company discovered it could be deadly.
Pomona is recalling 23,000 units of its baby loungers, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reported.
This is because the sides of the loungers are shorter than the minimum height limit to secure the child and the sleeping pad’s thickness exceeds the maximum limit, posing a suffocation hazard.
Additionally, a child could fall out of the enclosed opening at the foot of the lounger or become entrapped and the portable loungers do not have a stand, posing a fall hazard.
“These violations create an unsafe sleeping environment for infants, posing a risk of serious injury or death,” the CPSC wrote.
The baby loungers are in the style “grey feather” and are made of a gray clot
