MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Murfreesboro Police Department reports four Texas men have been returned to Tennessee in connection with a failed ATM robbery that turned deadly at a gas station in early August.

The group, DeAndre Hanks, Tyron Patton, Khamondre Phillips, and Meki Hill, all from the Dallas area, are facing charges in connection with a stolen vehicle and burglary.

Investigators said the suspects smashed a convenience store window with a sledgehammer, then used a stolen pickup truck and a wire to pull the ATM from its foundation.
