A New Hampshire woman died Friday night after her car left a road and hit a utility pole in Berwick.

Jessica Peloquin, 37, of Dover, New Hampshire, was driving a 2008 Acura on Route 236, near the intersection with New Dam Road, about 8:36 p.m. when she left the road and hit a utility police, according to the Berwick Police Department.

Peloquin, who was alone in the Acura, died at the scene, police said Monday.

The crash remains under investigation, but police believe speed contributed to the crash.
