EDMONDS– The City of Edmonds is inviting the public to an online Open House this Wednesday, September 10, covering the details of its Comprehensive Safety Action Plan, which aims to make travel safer for all modes of transportation throughout Edmonds.

In 2024, as part of a joint application with the Puget Sound Regional Council and other cities, the City of Edmonds secured federal funding from the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant program to develop a Safety Action Plan – a vital step toward making our streets safer for everyone. All jurisdictions are working independently to complete their plans. Safety action plans are comprehensive plans aimed at reducing and eliminating serious injury and fatal crashes affecting all roadway users.
