SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The Forsyth Park fountain is set to return to its landmark spot next week.

Savannah's beloved landmark was gone for over a month for its first restoration since 1988. However, on Monday, WSAV heard from Luke Robinson, the marketing director of Robinson Iron, that the fountain is expected to come back to greet visitors at Forsyth Park on Tuesday, Sept. 16.

Robinson Iron is the company heading the restoration project and will begin the reinstallation process ahead of schedule.
