BOISE, Idaho — A portion of the Boise River Greenbelt in southeast Boise will close for 10 days, starting on Wednesday, Sept. 10.

Officials with the Boise River Greenbelt announced on Monday that, following a final inspection, a portion of the pathway near Marianne Williams Park needs to be replaced.

The Facebook post about the closure said, "The concrete was inadvertently damaged by the contractor after installation during final shoulder repairs. The new concrete will extend the lifespan of the path and ensure it is safe for many years to come."

A detour will be posted for the 10 days needed to repair the portion of the path.
