NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) - The police are investigating after a trash can was set on fire in a Northampton elementary school over the weekend.

The Northampton Public Schools Superintendent, Portia Bonner, confirmed with 22News that the fire was set at the RK Finn Ryan Road School. Bonner says that there is no damage to the school building.

The vandalism incident is being investigated by Northampton police.
