CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - A Charleston man faces multiple charges after deputies say he led them on a chase on a motorcycle in excess of 125 mph on the interstate.

Thomas McNally, 32, is charged with reckless driving and failure to stop for blue lights involving bodily injury, according to Charleston County jail records.

Deputies reported seeing a motorcycle traveling over 100 mph on the eastbound side of I-26 at approximately 11:46 p.m. on Saturday, an incident report states. When the officer attempted to stop the motorcycle, the driver, later identified as McNally, accelerated and was “switching lanes excessively,” the report states.

The chase continued onto I-526 toward West Ashley when speeds surpassed the 125-mph mark, deputies said.
