CONCORD, N.H. —
The last of four bodies found in barrels in Bear Brook State Park in Allenstown, New Hampshire, has been identified , and investigators said it took continuing advances in technology to allow them to learn her name.
Police say Rea Rasmussen was between 2 and 4 years old when she was killed by her father, Terry Peder Rasmussen, more than two decades ago.

Her mother, Pepper Reed, is still missing.
Investigators said that as they worked to learn Rea's identity, they brought on the DNA Doe Project, a nonprofit organization that provides investigative genetic genealogy services to law enforcement officials working cold cases.
