GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- Police have identified a man found fatally shot in a Southeast Grand Rapids park on Saturday, Sept. 6.

Grand Rapids police identified the victim as 23-year-old Dashawn Guyton and said he’s known to family and friends at “Lil Ike.”

Officers responded about 7 p.m. Sept. 6 to the area of 28th Street SE at Kalamazoo, at Mackay-Jaycees Park, for a report of a shooting.

There, they found Guyton. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
