SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - For the eighth consecutive year, the Boys and Girls Clubs of Sioux Falls will have new, brand-name shoes.

Rudy Navarrete, owner of Rudy Navarrete’s Mexican Food, has continually raised funds for almost a decade to purchase shoes for kids in the Boys and Girls Club.

Navarrete collaborated with Trade Home Shoes to purchase a selection of shoes within a smaller size range.

The K-5 After-School programs at Cleveland Elementary and Laura B. Anderson Elementary were the programs selected for the giveaway this year.

The shoe sizes were fit for the variety of kids in the programs. From there, Boys and Girls Club administrators work to identify matches based on the inventory of shoes the kids receive.
