DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) -- A 39-year-old Florence man is facing charges in connection with a deadly crash that happened in November 2024 in Darlington County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Trey Demarcus Douglas was booked into the W. Glenn Campbell Detention Center on Saturday , online jail records show. He was arrested in Maryland and returned to Darlington County to face charges related to the crash, the highway patrol said. The circumstances of his arrest in Maryland were not immediately available.

The two-vehicle crash happened at about 6 p.m. on Nov. 6 on Southborough Road near the border with Florence County. Trooper said A 2016 Jeep Compass and a 2010 Chevrolet Impala were both traveling east on Southborough Road when the Impala hit the Jeep and caused it
