In its annual report, the Baltimore City Office of the Inspector General identified nearly $11 million in waste or savings this year.

On the C4 and Bryan Nehman Show, Inspector General Isabel Cumming said the IG’s office conducted seven investigations and interviewed more than 130 workers.

“Taking the time to listen to what their complaints were because that was the thing we heard more than anything. No one ever listened,” Cumming said. “They’ve been walking the walk and they know what they experienced and many times they have been pushed to the side.”
