BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — The Battle Creek Police Department is investigating after a shooting just north of Battle Creek Central High School Monday afternoon.
The shooting happened around 3 p.m. Police said they believe the incident began when a group of people in a vehicle were arguing with a group of people walking.
During the argument, one person fired a weapon an unknown number of times, according to police. One of the bullets struck someone, though police said the injury was non-life-threatening.
Police said no other injuries were reported in the incident.
