EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WPRI) — Joe Reverdes has proved himself to the world.

Reverdes, who's a personal trainer at his daughter's Johnston gym, is a four-time Guinness World Record holder.

Specifically, Reverdes holds world records for the most stairs climbed, squats and burpees in 24 hours, as well as most weight deadlifted in 12 hours.

12 News was there for each of Reverdes' successful world record attempts, with the most recent happening in October 2023.

Though he hasn't set his sights on breaking another world record, he is planning on riding more than 100 miles next Thursday to honor the firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11 and raise money for the American Lung Association.
