BURRILLVILLE, R.I. (WPRI) — Who will be the next owner of the Burrillville farmhouse made famous by the supernatural blockbuster "The Conjuring?"
That's the question being asked now that the Round Top Road home is headed for auction this Halloween.
The house, which dates back to 1736, was transformed into a tourist attraction by former owner Jacqueline Nuñez, who allowed paranormal enthusiasts to visit the property and attempt to make contact with the spirits who live there. Nuñez also offered tours of the property and allowed guests to stay overnight for a fee.
Nuñez, a self-described medium who bought the property for $1.5 million three years ago, made headlines last summer after she accused an employee of stealing money and fired him.
