AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Paul Scott has been coming to Warren Road Park for decades, and he says it's important to the neighborhood. “It's by my house, it's right around the corner over there. A lot of folks I know play basketball with the guys. It's very steady for the ball, a lot of kids come out,” he said. But with 70 parks in the city, many don't see a lot of people coming out, and that has commissioners considering whether some parks could closed to save money. “One of the issues that we have is that we have too many parks and a lot of the parks we're spending money into maintaining, they don't get use as much as they should,” said Commissioner Jordan Johnson.

So the city is looking into how, and how often, the parks get used.
