AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF)- During the month of September, the Golden Harvest Food Bank is rallying the community during 'Hunger Action Month'.
It's to shine a spotlight on the growing hunger crisis and inspire folks to step up and make a difference.
It's also 'Hunger Action Awareness Day'.
Right now, 1 in 7 people and 1 in 4 children in the CSRA face food insecurity.
September marks the 18th year of the national call to action.
