CLEMSON — Clemson University has shut down multiple commissions tasked with advising the school on diversity issues among its students, faculty and staff.
As first reported in Inside Higher Ed , advisory groups on campus have focused for years on the experiences of Black, Asian, Latino and LGBTQ+ individuals as well as conditions affecting women, veterans and individuals with disabilities.
All were “sunsetted” as of Sept. 3, according to an announcement from the university .
