Grand Canyon National Park officials said a man was found dead after his vehicle went over the Canyon's South Rim.
At about 12:40 p.m. on Sept. 7, park officials received a call that a vehicle with one occupant plunged into the Canyon near the South Kaibab Trailhead, according to a news release .
Park rangers located the body of a 27-year-old Colorado man about 300 feet below the rim, according to the news release.
