A worker has died after being pulled from a fuel tank at the Costco fueling station on Expo Parkway in Sacramento. Fire officials said crews responded around 10:45 a.m. for a hazardous materials call during a remodel project when an employee cleaning the tanks went inside, collapsed, and passed out due to gasoline vapors. The worker was trapped for 20–30 minutes before being rescued, given CPR, and transported to a hospital, where they later died.
