PETAL, Miss. (WDAM) - A Petal man awaits his sentencing and sentencing date after pleading guilty in a fatal car crash that killed three teens.

Petal man charged in June car accident that killed 3 teens

Austin Breazeale entered a guilty plea to three counts of killing while committing a misdemeanor on Wednesday, Sept. 3.

His multi-count indictment came after the deaths of three teenagers in a June 2024 car crash . Police identified Breazeale as the driver of the vehicle in which the victims were killed.

Court documents show that Breazeale’s sentencing has been deferred. A sentencing date has not been set at this time, and no reason has been given for the deferral.
