Police have made an arrest in connection with the murder of a man who went missing from Hialeah last month.

Ariely Alvarez Cabrera was taken into custody in Mexico on Monday, one month after Daylon Fleitas Gonzalez was reported missing , according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office.

Cabrera will be extradited to Florida. It's unclear what charges she will face. Her boyfriend, Alfredo Carballo Gonzalez, is still being sought in connection with the murder and is considered "armed and dangerous" by authorities.

Authorities sought the public's help in finding the couple after Fleitas Gonzalez disappeared on Aug. 7. According to investigators, Fleitas met with Gonzalez a few days before in the area of 95th Avenue and Northwest 106th Street.
