YOUNGSTOWN Ursuline High School announced Monday that Michael Frasco has been named the interim head football coach for Ursuline High School. The announcement follows a civil rights lawsuit filed against the school in federal court earlier this month.
According to a statement from the high school, Frasco, a long-time assistant coach, will lead the team for the rest of the season.
The statement also notes that head coach Dan Reardon has agreed to an indefinite suspension. Assistant coaches Tim McGlynn and Christian Syrianoudis have been placed on administrative leave.
The statement says the status of the three coaches is “pending the outcomes of the ongoing investigations and litigation.” No decisions have been made regarding their contracts or future employment, according to the state
