BRACEVILLE TWP., Ohio - State Troopers are investigating a serious pedestrian accident in Braceville Township.
Dispatchers were told that a pedestrian was struck by a pickup truck along Routes 5 near Route 534 at around 6 a.m. Tuesday.
The Ohio State Patrol tells 21 News that the victim was struck while he was walking to work.
When EMTs arrived, the victim was still on the ground.
State Troopers say the victim was seriously injured and taken to a hospital.
The right lanes of State Route 5 were closed until emergency crews could clear the scene.
