AUSTINTOWN Austintown Fitch, who was originally scheduled to play Ursuline High School for its homecoming game for the 2025 football season, has changed opponents.

According to a notice from Austintown Fitch, the homecoming game, which was originally set to take place September 26 against Ursuline has been moved to September 19 and will now be against John R. Buchtel High School.

The homecoming dance itself will still happen Saturday, September 27 as originally scheduled. It is unknown if Fitch will still play Ursuline this season.

The school would not comment on record as to why the schedule change was made, but the change comes one week after a lawsuit was filed against Ursuline High School and its football program, bringing to light allegations of hazing and sexual assault again
