ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Rotterdam police are investigating a robbery at a home on Franklin Street. It happened around 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Police said the suspect went into a home, sprayed the occupants with pepper spray, and then fled the home with property from the house. The suspect is described as a Black male in his late 20s wearing a black track suit with a red hood, white sneakers, and a mask.

He fled on foot in the area of Mariaville Road and Franklin Street. Schenectady Police Department K9s and the Schenectady County Sheriff's Office assisted.
