VIENNA, Wis. -- One driver is dead and one person was Med Flighted after a crash in the Town of Vienna Monday afternoon.

The Dane County Sheriff's Office said a vehicle was traveling westbound on Cuba Valley Road was struck by a northbound car on CTH I after failing to stop at the stop sign on Cuba Valley Road at CTH I. A 63-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. A 60-year-old man of the northbound vehicle suffered serious injuries.

Traffic was rerouted from approximately 4:45 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. to allow crash

investigators to reconstruct the crash. The Dane County Medical Examiner’s

Office will release the identity of the deceased after notifying the family. The

cause of the crash remains under investigation by the sheriff’s office.
