LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska’s Medical Cannabis Commission continues to face hurdles as it figures out the framework for growing and selling medical marijuana in Nebraska, meeting again on Monday afternoon for an emergency meeting.

Last week , the state’s medical marijuana commission once again updated the emergency regulations approved in July, in the hopes of finalizing formal regulations that will serve as more permanent rules for growing and selling medical cannabis. But on Monday, the commission held an emergency meeting because Gov. Pillen apparently didn’t give the thumbs up to last week’s updates.

The issue revolved around the number of plants that cultivators will be allowed to grow. The commission said that Pillen took issue with their last proposal for allowing too much
