The Eagles on Monday afternoon made a flurry of roster moves, including a move to fill out their 53-man roster.

• Signed OLB Patrick Johnson to the 53-man roster from the practice squad

• Signed RB Montrell Johnson and OL Hollin Pierce to the practice squad

• Released WR Elijah Cooks from the practice squad

The Eagles opened up a spot on their 53-man roster this weekend when they waived guard Kenyon Green. Johnson was the logical choice to be signed to the roster. The 27-year-old edge rusher and special teamer was elevated for the Eagles’ Week 1 game against the Cowboys on Thursday night.
