Brunswick residents will soon have a new way to get around town. It's called " Brunswick Breeze " and it's designed to address long standing concerns from residents about the lack of reliable transit.

The new vehicles have already arrived in the city and are just awaiting their first passengers. Director of the city planning zoning and codes, John Hunter, says this is something that has been in the work for quite some time.

"We've actually been working on the planning for this for a number of years, uh, back pre-COVID, and, originally the idea was a standard fixed route," Hunter said.

However, city leaders quickly realized that a traditional transit system wouldn't fit their needs, so they decided to try something else.
