A Valley musician and composer met with 21 News on Monday, discussing the recent sale of a song he wrote nearly 25 years ago.

The song, titled "After 911", reflects on September 11, 2001.

According to Fordeley, he sold the song to Hilltop Records. He continues to own the rights to the song.

He says that on the day of 9/11, he walked into his father's home, where his family explained to him what had happened.

He told 21 News that he was hit with the urge to write.

"Every time I go to write a song, I always get tingles in my head, and I know that's God telling me to get a pen, get a paper and start writing a song. So, I did," said Fordeley.

Fordeley says that he wrote "After 911" in five minutes.
