West Lothian police are investigating a fire at a derelict building on Sunday afternoon.

Around 3pm on September 7, police and fire crews raced to Ash Grove in Blackburn after a former health centre became engulfed in flames.

Four appliances and a height appliance was dispatched to the scene. SFRS crews battled the blaze for around 10 hours and left the area at 1.52am on Monday.

Police are treating the fire as "wilful" and enquiries are ongoing.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 3.20pm on Sunday, 7 September, to reports of a fire affecting a derelict building on Ash Grove in Blackburn.

“Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances and a high reach appliance to the scene.

"Crews extinguished the fire and left the area at 1.52am on Monday,
