PALATKA, Fla. (WCJB) - Putnam County Sheriff’s deputies say a man is in jail because he attacked his son over his son’s ex-girlfriend.

Sheriff’s deputies say Shawn Tennant, 57, cut his son multiple times with a knife on Tuesday.

His son was driving at the time and the vehicle swerved several times.

The reckless driving caught the attention of a deputy, who pulled them over.

Tennant is being held on a more than $52,000 bond.
