A Lincolnshire man has died in hospital following . Robbie McBeath, of Bourne , was involved in a crash involving three cars and a motorbike on Monday, August 25.

The 50-year-old had been riding an orange Superduke R motorbike when the collision, involving a a grey Peugeot 3008, a black Audi A6, a grey Fiat 500, occurred around 2pm in Bretton, Peterborough.

The collision took place on the on the A47 eastbound carriageway of the Soke Parkway, at the exit for Bretton Gate. attended the scene, and McBeath was taken to Peterborough City Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The drivers and passengers of the cars remained at the scene and were uninjured. Cambridgeshire Constabulary are appealing for information and dashcam footage from anyone travelling along the A47 in either
