WAUSAU − Court Appointed Special Advocates of Marathon County and the Marathon County Department of Social Services are hosting an information session for potential CASA volunteers and foster parents.

The event is set for 6-8 p.m. Oct. 2 at the Historic Everest Mansion in Wausau, according to a community announcement.

Attendees will hear stories from CASA volunteers and foster families, learn about the roles and impact of CASA advocates and foster parents and have the opportunity to tour the historic home.

The event is free, but registration is required at CASAfoster.eventbrite.com . Parking will be available at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum.
