More Cumberland County Schools landed on the state’s low-performing list, test results for the 2024-15 school year show, with 27 schools designated as low-performing, up from 15 for the prior year, a Sept. 4 CCS grades news release states.

According to the release, four schools on last school year’s low-performing list were removed, 18 of the 27 low-performing schools from this year met growth expectations, eight increased overall achievement scores and seven improved their numerical school performance grade.
