Court documents have revealed how a pair of brutal gang bashings unfolded in a New South Wales prison last year.

Sakeasi Maile, Ty White and Alonzo Faaoloii pleaded guilty to the attacks and had their sentencing date set down in Port Macquarie District Court on Monday.

Each pleaded guilty to two charges of wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm over the beatings of fellow inmate Jake Skelton at Mid North Coast Correctional Centre.

According to the documents, Skelton was a member of a rival gang that Maile, White and Faaoloii were a part of.

The agreed facts released after the pleas showed that the first assault occurred 20 minutes after Skelton arrived at the prison, located at Kempsey, from Parklea Correctional Centre on January 29, 2024.
