There were some big-time individual performances on Friday night as high school football teams from the Greater Savannah area competed in Week 4 of the season.

Jenkins had an impressive road win at Liberty County in a Region 3-3A matchup, and Beach won its first game against Windsor Forest. Calvary Day improved to 3-0 as the Cavaliers rallied to win at SE Bulloch.

There were also some notable performances in softball, volleyball and cross country last week.
