Well, team, we are looking at a significant shift in our weather pattern as we move through the week here in Southern Illinois. After a few cooler mornings, we're about to feel the heat as temperatures steadily climb. We’ve been tracking a large area of high pressure and that's keeping our skies mostly clear, which means we can expect plenty of sunshine throughout the upcoming days. This drier air, coupled with thirsty ground, is setting the stage for significantly warmer conditions and importantly, it’s also going to heighten our fire danger.
