El Paso police arrested two men for allegedly assaulting a public servant and resisting arrest after fighting with a bar security guard, authorities said.

Police arrested Nima Dhendup, 25, on suspicion of assaulting a public servant and Menda Wangchuk Dorgi, 25, on a charge of resisting arrest, El Paso Police Department spokesperson Detective Judy Oviedo said in a news release.

The incident occurred at a bar located in the 2700 block of North Mesa Street in the Cincinnati Entertainment District, the release states.

The incident started about 11:10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, when a security guard was attempting to escort a man out of the bar because he was vomiting inside, the news release states.

Dhendup allegedly hit the security guard, the news release states.
