The Camas-Washougal Fire Department will host its annual Open House, Health and Safety Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27, at Station 42, 4321 N.W. Parker St., Camas.
The event will include live kitchen fire demonstrations, a children’s interactive vehicle fire-suppression demonstration, a house fire simulation and sprinkler demonstration, a vehicle extrication demonstration and a Clark County Sheriff’s K9 unit exhibition.
Local agencies and businesses will have exhibits, including fire extinguisher demonstrations, emergency preparedness tips for families and information on community support after a crisis, focused on health, safety and emergency preparedness, according to a news release.
