YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - A man faces sentencing after pleading guilty to attempted trespass in a habitation, a fifth-degree felony.
John Turner entered the plea in Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas on Monday.
Police arrested Turner on a burglary charge last August after a woman in Youngstown reported that she found Turner, whom she didn't know, sleeping in her bed.
The woman told police she gasped when she saw him and ran downstairs to call 911, but Turner didn't wake up.
Reports state Turner told police he thought the home was abandoned and that he was going to cut the grass, but decided to take a nap instead.
Sentencing in Turner's case is set for Sept. 16.
