PORT WENTWORTH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Georgia State Patrol’s updated report said 21-year-old Hannah Katherine Ghidotti has died following a crash on Monday afternoon.

According to GSP, an SUV traveling south on Georgia Highway 21 was turning left onto Rice Mill Road when it collided with a tractor-trailer traveling north on Highway 21. The front of the tractor-trailer hit the passenger-side doors of the SUV.

Ghidotti was on the passenger side and was transported to Savannah Memorial Hospital for medical treatment immediately, but they have since succumbed to their injuries.

As of Tuesday morning, charges are pending the investigation results.
