For many of us oldsters, when we think of Superman, there's really only one that comes to mind, and that's the original movie Superman, Christopher Reeve. He instilled the values of truth, justice, and the American way into our mindset, and for many, he was the reason behind an admiration of superheroes.
Through the late 70s and 80s, and into the 90s, Reeve was our Superman.
In 1992, Christopher and his wife, actress Dana Reeve, welcomed a son named Will to the world. Just a few short years later, Christopher was involved in a life-changing accident while riding a horse and was paralyzed from the neck down.
